Call for papers: Workshop on the EU parliament and foreign affairs
The new workshop, “Legislatures and foreign affairs: political parties, committees, and individual MPs”, is now open to receive your paper proposals. The workshop is the perfect oportunity for PADEMIA members to add to the debate on the role of the European parliament in foreign affairs. The aim of the workshop is to illuminate scholarly understanding of whether or how European parliaments engage in foreign affairs, through examining the participation of various parliamentary actors and the role of parliamentary forums or instruments in foreign affairs.
It takes place on 14 and 15 April in Tampere, Finland. The deadline for the call for papers is 15 January.
